The Bengal Shakti Circuit is a six-day, five-night road pilgrimage from Kolkata to twelve Shakti Peeths of southern and central West Bengal, priced from ₹ 24,900 per person. It begins with Kalighat and Dakshineswar in Kolkata, moves through the temple villages of Purba Medinipur, Hooghly and Purba Bardhaman into the Shakta heartland of Birbhum, and reaches Kiriteswari near Murshidabad before the drive back to Kolkata. The route uses five overnight stops, so devotees are not squeezing several long drives into a three- or four-day trip.
The twelve Shakti Peeths covered are Kalighat, Bargabhima (Vibhash) at Tamluk, Ratnavali at Khanakul, Jogadya at Khirgram, Ujani at Kogram, Bahula at Ketugram, Attahas near Labhpur, Kankalitala near Bolpur on the Kopai river, Mahishmardini at Bakreshwar, Nandikeshwari at Sainthia, Nalateswari at Nalhati and Kiriteswari in Murshidabad district. Tarapith, the Siddha Peeth of Maa Tara, is visited with an overnight stay and an early-morning darshan, but it is counted separately and not as one of the twelve. The price covers five hotel nights, five breakfasts and five vegetarian dinners, a private air-conditioned vehicle for the full circuit, pickup and drop at Kolkata Airport, Howrah or Sealdah, tolls, parking and driver costs, and a pilgrimage coordinator with 24x7 assistance. Puja and priest charges, lunch, local e-rickshaws where large vehicles cannot enter, and GST are extra. The circuit suits families and active senior citizens who are comfortable with early starts and two long road days. October to March is the most comfortable season, and Navaratri, Durga Puja and Kali Puja dates need early booking.

Arrive at Kolkata Airport, Howrah Station or Sealdah Station and meet the Teerthayan representative. Proceed for darshan at Kalighat Kali Temple, one of Bengal’s most revered Shakti Peeths. After hotel check-in and rest, visit Dakshineswar Kali Temple on the Hooghly River, subject to arrival time, traffic and temple operating conditions. The day is deliberately light so that travellers can recover before the long road circuit begins. If the arrival is late, Dakshineswar may be moved to the final day when departure timing permits.
