The Char Dham Yatra from Delhi (the 4 Dham Yatra) covers Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath in 12 days and 11 nights for ₹33,900 per person, with pickup and drop in Delhi. Two extra days compared with a Haridwar start make the pace gentler: the first evening is the Ganga Aarti at Haridwar, and the last night is in Rishikesh.
The route runs clockwise in the traditional order. Yamunotri is a trek of about 6 km from Janki Chatti. Gangotri is a drive up the Bhagirathi from Uttarkashi. Kedarnath is the 16–18 km trek from Gaurikund, with a night at Kedarnath for the evening aarti and an early darshan. Badrinath gets a full day, with Tapt Kund, Brahma Kapal and Mana village, before the drive back through the five prayags.
The package includes 11 nights' stay with dormitory accommodation at Kedarnath, breakfast and dinner every day, all transfers, tolls, permits and driver charges, help with booking the Kedarnath helicopter, and 24×7 assistance. Your spiritual journey begins with arrival in Delhi, followed by a scenic drive to Haridwar (approx. 230km, 5-6 hours), one of the holiest cities in India and the gateway to the Char Dham pilgrimage. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the world-famous Ganga Aarti, where thousands of lamps illuminate the sacred river while devotional chants echo across the ghats. Carry Valid ID
A government-issued photo ID is mandatory at all Dham checkpoints and for biometric registration — keep it accessible at all times.
Pack Warm Clothing
Temperatures at Kedarnath and Badrinath can drop to near-freezing — carry thermals, a heavy jacket, gloves, and a woollen cap even in summer months.
Comfortable Trekking Shoes
Essential for the Yamunotri (5km) and Kedarnath (16–18 km) treks — flat sandals or chappals are not suitable for mountain trails.
Rain Protection is Essential
Carry a waterproof jacket and rain cover for your bag — rain can occur at any time in the Garhwal Himalayas, especially during monsoon months (July–September).
Carry Personal Medicines
Basic first aid, personal prescriptions, paracetamol, and altitude sickness medication (Diamox, consult your doctor). Medical facilities are limited at high-altitude Dham sites.
Keep Luggage Light
Carry only essentials in a small backpack for trekking days (Yamunotri and Kedarnath). Heavy luggage stays in the vehicle.
Carry Cash
ATM availability is limited at hill stations and non-existent at Kedarnath — carry adequate cash from Haridwar or Delhi for personal expenses, pony/palki charges, and emergencies.
Start Early Each Day
Mountain drives are long (7-10 hours on several days) — early starts ensure daylight driving and safer travel on Himalayan roads.
