In the evening, proceed to Shri Dwarkadhish Jagat Mandir for the first darshan and Aarti according to the temple schedule. Walk through the old temple lanes and visit Gomti Ghat or the seafront before returning to the hotel.

Carry an original government-issued photo identity document and keep a digital copy available.
Dwarkadhish and Bet Dwarka close between darshan sessions. Follow the coordinator departure time to avoid reaching during a closed window.
Carry only essentials for temple visits and use authorised locker, cloakroom and footwear facilities where required.
Wear modest traditional or conservative clothing suitable for repeated temple visits and coastal weather.
Use comfortable slip-on footwear because shoes must be removed repeatedly at temples and ghats.
Steps can be wet or uneven. Senior citizens should use railings, avoid crowded edges and seek assistance.
Traffic and pedestrian access may be regulated. Do not stop the vehicle outside designated areas or disregard police instructions for photographs.
Carry sunscreen, sunglasses, a cap or umbrella and drinking water, especially from March to October.
Dwarka and Somnath can feel cooler after sunset because of strong sea breeze; carry a light shawl or jacket.
Janmashtami, Diwali, Kartik Purnima, Sawan and long weekends bring road diversions, longer queues and higher hotel rates.
Use only the official Somnath Trust channels for Trust guest-house, pooja or donation transactions and avoid unverified payment requests.
Keep at least five hours between leaving Somnath and a Rajkot departure, with additional buffer during holidays or monsoon.
