Sampoorna Ramayana Yatra

The Sampoorna Ramayana Yatra is an 18-day, 17-night pilgrimage from Delhi that follows the story of Lord Rama across India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, in the order the events unfold in the Ramayana. It is priced at ₹ 1,45,000 per person and includes the domestic and international flights listed in the itinerary, hotels, breakfast and dinner, and private AC road transfers in all three countries.

The trail opens with a flight to Ayodhya for the Saryu Aarti at Ram Ki Paidi, then Ram Janmabhoomi, Hanuman Garhi and Kanak Bhawan. The group then travels by road into Nepal for two nights at Janakpur, with Janaki Mandir, the Vivah Mandap and Dhanushadham. Back in India the route covers the Triveni Sangam and Bharadwaj Ashram at Prayagraj, Shringverpur, and two days at Chitrakoot for Ramghat, the Kamadgiri parikrama and Sphatik Shila. Nashik follows for Panchavati, Sita Gufa, Kalaram Temple and Ramkund; Hampi for Anjanadri Hill, Rishyamukha and Pampa Sarovar; and Rameswaram for Agni Theertham, Ramanathaswamy Temple and Dhanushkodi.

The last four days are in Sri Lanka: Kelaniya near Colombo, Munneswaram at Chilaw, the Seetha Amman Temple at Sita Eliya near Nuwara Eliya, Divurumpola and Ravana Falls near Ella, before the flight home to Delhi. Lunch, temple pooja, the ETA government fee unless opted in the package, entry fees and GST are not included. October to March is the best season. With several flights and long road days, the pace suits pilgrims in good general health; a slower or module-wise version is possible.
